Two Earthquakes shake Anza-Borrego State Park

BORREGO SPRINGS - A pair of earthquakes shook Eastern San Diego County and surrounding areas Friday morning.

The first quake was recorded at 6:45 a.m. as a Magnitude 3.5 in the Anza-Borrego State Park, about five miles outside of the town Borrego Springs. The second quake, a Magnitude 3.0, happened in the same area at about 8:00 a.m. Residents in Temecula and as far south as Chula Vista reported feeling the shaking.

No injuries or damages have been reported.
